Evs...I'm so sleepy. Flap woke me up a half hour early. When did he turn into Simon's Cat?

Your dominant hue is blue, making you a good friend who people love and trust. You're good in social situations and want to fit in. Just be careful not to compromise who you are to make them happy.

Your saturation level is very low - you have better things to do than jump headfirst into every little project. You make sure your actions are going to really accomplish something before you start because you hate wasting energy making everyone else think you're working.

Your outlook on life is very bright. You are sunny and optimistic about life and others find it very encouraging, but remember to tone it down if you sense irritation.

So, the end of the day was much better than the beginning or middle.

Our neighbor across the parking lot is a private residence with two beautiful 7-month old Siberian huskies. I learned today that the male, who has a black body with white markings, is named Heidut, which means Bandit, and the female, who is gray and white, is named Mauvich for her blue eyes. I'm totally guessing on the spelling here; I don't even know what language that is.

I learned this because I helped catch them today. They broke out (probably engineered by Mauvich--she's tricksy) and first ran for the river. So when their owner came running out, she first asked for help getting them to come back up. The slope to the river is way to steep for two-legged critters to just walk down. So we were calling and play-bowing and doing everything we could to seem interesting, which got them to come up. And then they ran right past us.

I'd say the total run to catch them was about 500 yards, across all the back lots on our side of the river. It probably took me about a minute because I was so damn scared they were going to run onto the Hamburg Turnpike.

Once they were caught, they needed to be walked back home. Problem: their owner forgot leashes. So we bent down and each took one by the collar. I had Heidut, who really had very good manners considering how badly he wanted to run. In front of one of the neighbors, Mauvich slipped her collar. But her owner caught her before she could bolt, and I kept her calm and laying down while holding Heidut in my left hand so her owner could get the collar back on her.

Another 30 yards and they were home safe and sound.

An adult husky can pull about 1,000 pounds. So these adolescents could probably have handled about 800 or so. My thighs and lower back are burning from keeping Heidut under control, never mind the run.

Which makes me realize...other recent workouts that had me feeling like this were dancing for 4 hours, or riding the exercise bike for an hour and a half. This entire adventure took about 15 minutes. I should start jogging again.
