I had a wonderful day yesterday. My job interview went really well; in fact, they want me back on Wednesday morning to meet with the head of operations. I spent lunch with my mom and Aunt Diane, who is in her third week of chemotherapy and needed some cheering up. Interesting fact: chemo changes the way food tastes, so a lot of cancer patients need company to distract them and make them feel like eating. I went home and took a nap, then met up with Melissa and Claire at the Junkyard for possibly my last trip there. I've hit the point where I don't like college bars anymore...I've been to enough 21st birthday parties; I don't need those of random strangers inflicted on my evening. But, it was fun, and I danced up a sweat.
Today, it's still morning and I've already done everything productive that I can do today. Applied for jobs, bought groceries, cleaned...my last recourse is webcomics.
And my book. But I don't want to go through it too fast, since I can't afford to buy any more for a while.
