My godmother is an amusing woman. She lost my phone number and address, and couldn't think of my email address. So she just picked up the phone and guessed.
I left my lil disposable camera at her summer house when I went up for my birthday. She found it, but then she lost it again. When she does finally find it and send it back to me, I will have some AMAZING photos to share.
She is so much a part of how I have survived the past few years.
So, I was really not into the Led Zeppelin reunion. I mean, how could they do it without John Bonham? Then I finally got the news that Jason Bonham is filling in for him. Okay, that's wonderful. I can completely get behind that. I'm still not going to shell out the undoubtedly exorbitant cost for concert tickets (hell, I can't even afford reasonably priced ones!) but it's still something I can be happy about.

Jason gave me a gift card to Amazon for xmas. It nearly moved me to tears when I found it in my email. I am such a dork. But it was just such a sweet thing. I'm so lucky.
Xmas is going to be lean again this year. I've got to figure out something to send my godmother, though. Maybe a lil dog rescue charm.
You know, I really don't know how to be a grownup. If it weren't for talking with my brother, I'd get so walked on. Here I am thinking that I'd have to pay like, $800 for a fridge. But he paid $250 for his, including delivery.
Thank you, big brother, for giving me the knowledge I need to keep from getting suckered. It is welcomed at any time. I only wish I'd started learning these things much earlier in my life--I probably would be in a much better financial situation than I am now.
