Shinn and Kacey are moving out. The money will be tight for a while, but that will be more than compensated for by me and Aimee being able to stretch out more. Also, we're eliminating all cable except for internet access.
Went to see the Comedians of Comedy last night in Philly. Maria Bamford sucked. I forget the name of the Russian dude from Brooklyn, but he, Brian Poseyn, and Patton Oswalt were bloody brilliant. Bonus points: I was bitching about Walt Whitman (there is no worse phrase in the English language than "I sound my barbaric yawp") and Oswalt did a double whammy...a joke combining the yawp and KFC! Awesome.
Not awesome: getting home at 2:30 AM on a work night. And Mudflap being edgy and hyper for two hours afterwards...noisily so.
Cleared out the bathroom sink drain again, with much help from Jay. The leak is somewhere in the wall, so I'll be picking up evil super drain busting fluids this week.
Also rearranged my room with much help from Jay, and gained about two extra square feet in each direction.
Jay FTW.
Having my own place has really enabled me to indulge my obsession with all things pink and girly. I've spent enough of my life living up to some tough standard or another. It's my turn to be a princess, dammit.
Saw The Shots on Saturday night. Awesome as usual. Yay for the dancing workout.
Saw the Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D on Friday night with Aimee, Kris, Melissa, and Jay. In an unexpected twist, it was an improvement on the original masterpiece. Unfortunately, the viewing was accompanied by a redneck bitch smacking around her autistic teenage daughter in the row in front of us.
I'm sorry, but if your child is autistic and obsessed with a particular movie, don't take her to THAT MOVIE and expect her to be CALM. It doesn't work that way. It's okay for her to sing along and recite the script. Cunt.
