So now I hear that Verner IS married. From the same trusted person, but with a better source. Should I see him this weekend at Quest, I will take him aside and say some unpleasant things to him regarding the position he put me in.

neil1701e last night. I have this extreme pleasure about once a year if I'm lucky. I hopped the trains into NYC and we wandered around the Garment District for a bit, then got a bite at the Pig n Whistle (922 3rd Ave), which I strongly recommend. Very good hot roast beef sandwich with swiss and onions. We had a lovely conversation, with regular intervals of "I missed you!" "I missed you, too!" I wanted to make sure I didn't miss the last train back to Hawthorne, so I was back on the PATH at 9:30 PM. I got into Hoboken at 10:00...and had to wait an hour and twenty minutes for the next train home.
Should any of the people who read this find themselves in North Haledon, they should stop in at Wizards. It's a lovely little pub owned by a nice aging geek named Gerry. The decor is very Renn/Fantasy friendly and the drinks are good and cheap.
I stopped in there around midnight, though I was already tired and my legs were extra sore (they haven't recovered from Windsor and Neil and I walked 16 blocks or so at a good clip in our wanderings). Silly of me, but Craig and Bree were there and we chatted a bit. I didn't say much, what with the tired, and I only had a soda, but still. Pleasant. Then I drove Craig home. Extra pleasant. He has me matched at my greatest talent.
Now here it is Wednesday morning and I'm exhausted, as could be expected. I only got 4 hours of sleep. As I was waking up, I had a dream about helping JPV and Kristen cook. Go fig. I think I may ask to leave work early, as I'm seeingwolf_nd_shadows later on tonight, and I think I'll need a nap.
Yay seeing Zach!
I think part of my trip tocosmic_hiccup's school benefit this Saturday will consist of my bringing fatherdog cookies. He needs them.
