I am full of moonlight
Mar. 20th, 2004 01:24 am"I'm being followed by a moon shadow
Moonshadow moonshadow
Leaping and hopping on a moon shadow
Moonshadow moonshadow
And if I ever lose my legs
I won't cry and I won't beg
No if I ever lose my legs
Oh, if...
I won't have to run no more"

There's a view in my mind to an open field. It's threaded by wisps of mist that twist like snakes as they slither across the valley floor. They sky is black but for where the moonlight turns the clouds white and silver as they fly across its crescent face. The grass is lavender and wet with dew, and puddles hold up mirrors to the 'witched sky. Will'o'wisps flutter by like butterflies. There is a lake nearby. I know this because I can hear whippoorwills. Someone is out there, waiting to meet me just beyond the line of ancient pine trees standing sentry. If only it were a real place, I wouldn't disappoint her.
