I'll be staying with my brother in the short term, which should make my mom happy. He doesn't have furniture, so he has room for mine. I now have a storage unit at $109.00 a month. It's a 5x10, which should hold most of my stuff. Definitely still doing the garage sale; I had too much stuff regardless. I talked with my godmother. Some people pray, some people meditate, some people pop pills--I talk to her. I am going to go back into counselling, but through work, which should be better--no self-serving lunatic trying to use me as a group therapy tool.
I talked to Craig today. That helped a lot. He's been arguing with his mom, trying to keep her off my stuff, but she's not listening. So it's not his fault. I guess it's ok if he packs it, but I don't want her touching anything. For one thing, she's mixing our stuff up.
Here's the thing. We're both Marklanders, in the same household. So no matter that we're not together anymore, he's still my house-brother. We're going to be friends. Which will be hard, but better. Maybe he'll realize how much damage his mother is doing to him because of all this. And I hated living with her. Maybe this was the only way for me to get away.
Although, since I'm not angry with him anymore...ow.

Now the question is: how do I get my furniture out of Craig's house and into my brother's?

Renting a truck from Uhaul would probably run about $50 for the amount of time you'd need it to move the furniture. I'll be happy to help you lug the stuff in and out if you give me a little advance notice.

i find uhaul(or similar) is almost always worth the money. making one big trip all in one shot in one day is a hundred times better then several trips with a van/pickup/stationwagon(which i have used way to many times)
true friends work cheap a some pizza and beer usually covers it plus you get the bonus of having a kick ass party after the move is done.
