I'm still alive

Well, I suppose I owe it to those of you who actually read this to give you an update.

I don't have diabetes. It was a waaaaaaaay inaccurate test. My sugar is between 101 and 140, depending on when the last time I ate was. And I have the amazing disappearing/reappearing ANA positive. Right now my blood says I show no signs of autoimmune disease...although I expect they'll reappear.

So, generally, I'm healthy.

I've been in therapy, and mostly it's made me question what the hell I'm doing in therapy. If what's wrong with me is that I'm too smart, too honest, and too proactive, they why should I try to change?

I went to the NY Ren Faire yesterday, and some tourist who was there for the first time took my pic (I was an imp). It feels good to entertain people.

Were any of you all breastfed? I'm getting a theory.

i had a few friends go to opening but i already had plans i know they will be going quite frequently, i'll give you a call the next time i go.

how are things going otherwise?

if you look at my last post a friend is directing a play if you/your friends etc. are interested. i've seen her stuff before its awesome!

Yeahhhh for not being sick!!! If it helps your theory I was NOT breastfed... but im pretty sure I would have been if I wasnt adopted..

I'm pretty sure I was breastfed, but not 100% sure...back in the 80s in the Dominican Republic, there was no advanced technology, and I actually had cloth diapers when I was a baby...I figure that I might as well have been breastfed.

As for your request to go to see you at the Ren Faire, I have to see how things play out once I get to Jersey and let you know.

I was breast fed. My mother got the little girl she always wanted, her second and decidedly last of two children, and she had hoped to enjoy baby-ing me for as long as possible. But she says I was never interested in breast feeding and would always get distracted by other things and turn away. I weaned myself early she says.

Which if you think about it is true in most of the aspects of my relationship with my parents.
