There's a right way, and a wrong way

Once you start touching people, let alone hurting them, it stops being a counter-demonstration and becomes an attack. This guy and his "bodyguards" should be held to account.

You know, as much as I don't want to offend the conservative here, the mimes/protestors were clearly trying to physically impede this man's right to free speech, as ignorant as it may be. I think the protestors were going way too far, and it seemed to me like his bodyguards were doing everything in their power NOT to start a fight - they were defending this guy (and his cameraman) from being physically overrun.
Calling it an "attack" when it looked more like defensive posturing is a bit much.
To paraphrase wiser individuals: "I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend your right to say it."

You know, I didn't play the video since I don't have sound at work, and was completely going by the article. I couldn't see anything too out of hand in the video at first, but at 45 seconds, one of the mimes pushed past the bodyguard's arm. Once you intentionally place yourself between the guard and his client, all bets are off.

I stand corrected.
