Thoughts on sex from Sully
Sex is the ultimate selfless and selfish act. One gives and one takes, but
the goal is that of pleasure. There is no reason why two adults in full
control of their facilities can't come together for this end, and nothing
more. Some stodgy people would say that they /use/ each other. For
certain! How flattering is it that someone would let you enter their
bedchamber and let you take of their body at in it's most vulnerable state?
And in return, you also receive pleasure?
Such women, in my experience, shouldn't be degraded as whores. They should
be exalted for allowing us to experience terrestrial divinity.
Besides, if you can't fuck your friends, who can you fuck?
Now, polyamory is not my cup of tea, but I know many people who subscribe to
it's philosophies. I don't knock those who practice it so long as they are
safe and honest. But I also don't think its for beginners. The complexity
of micromanaging a multifaceted dynamic social situation is beyond my
capability, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it's impossible.
It's always bothered me that there is derisive slander towards women who
enjoy sex and so little in the way of equivalent terminology towards the
opposite sex. Women are branded "hussies," while men are "studs." It's a
double standard.
And why should "whore" be an insult? It's a time honored profession, and in
my opinion, a person's right as the owner of their own body.
Not all societies frowned upon the sensuality and sexuality which is an
inherent and integral part of the human animal. In ancient Babylon, at
least once in her lifetime, every woman was required to go with the first
man who cast silver into her lap. All of the priestesses of Inanna were
whores. Shamhat, a priestess of Inanna, plays an integral part in the Epic
of Gilgamesh, where she made love to Enkidu for six days and seven nights.
Before the Westernization of Japan, Geisha were highly respected as
courtesans. In Europe on Beltane or Walpurgisnacht the population at large
got pretty loose with who they paired off with. The main fertilities rites
were generally performed between a priestess and a king (with whom he was
not married).
Ironically, these are all instances of "sacred whoredom." From the stigmas
of Judeo-Christianity, we have the patriarchal line, the impurity of the
"loose" independent woman, the original sin (the cause of which was woman),
the female curse (childbirth/menstruation), and the general
incompetence/subservience/weakness of women. Also, women are considered
"unclean," and there are laws about a woman's natural function. (Leviticus
book 3 and Deuteronomy 4 for more details).
Don't fret. The people who are trying to proselytize you into their way of
thinking aren't worth your thought and emotion. Keep your head up, avoid
harm, evade drama, and continue to reap the fruits of passion when and where
opportunity is ripe. They guffaw-- but also keep in mind they're not the
ones having sex.

"Let the one of us without sin cast the first stone."
He stared at the ground for a reason. If he had looked anyone in the eyes his words would have seemed to be a direct question of that individual's riteousness. That would only lead to more anger. Instead he scribbled in the dirt and looked at no one. The crowd dispersed, none of them bold enough to claim in front of the others to be without sin.
The Bible is a book written and rewritten by many people, most of them men in sexist societies. A lot of it is made up. But in the entire thing there is one verse that always rang true to me:
"The laws of God are written on your heart."
It means that you don't need a pope or a rabbi or anyone else to tell you what's right or wrong. You know. And as long as you stick to that inner conscience you'll be just fine.
Religion is a tool that is far too often used as a weapon. Take of it what you can to help you find your way, and discard the rest.

Dogmatoc law: Whatever law man creates, I will adhere to.
True religious self-centeredness, God is not our slave, He can't do what we say, nor are we slaves of Him, He is our companion, always helping us get through the troubling times ahead. This is why I prefer to worship God in my own right, because, every religion, though they have their good points, tend to lose itself at some point, and when they branch off into sects and extremist groups, do we even know who's right or wrong anymore?
I may have been Catholic, but I learned that there is enough hypocrisy toshow that maybe they aren't 100% correct in what they say. if any, The Bible is a book that is meant to teach, not to be taken iterally. Stories meant to tell us about what we can do for the world and what the world can do for us.
Good example: The parable of the Good Samaritan. He helps this troubled hebrew man. Now, I learned froma TLC documentary that the Isrealites and Samaritans were hated. I think this is why Jesus titled this "The Good Samaritan" because jsut because you are a Samaritan, does not automatically make one evil.
Also... I have friends who are Muslim, do I think they're terrorists now? hell no, they are good friends of mine, who are going to medical School. Anyone who says otherwise are just ignorant of what is really there.

Sometimes, the rite of sexuality has been known as a prayer ritual, and at the point of climax, the mind is practically erased of all thought, and it is supposedly at that point that you are able to see God.
So, for any woman who has seen a guy cum, that is not a look of stupidity, that is the look of someone who has actually seen God, and couldn't psychologically handle it. That's why they fall asleep right after. Their minds need to regain conscious control.
Anyways, in any form of culture and society, sex, fucking, bucking the bronco, whatever terms there are for it, you must know that to have sex, yu must understand the purity of it, the naturalness of our sexual desires, if you don't, then you can never truly experience the true act of love. We have the right to have sex with anyone of the opposite sex (or same sex if that is your choice), and it must not be seen as a sin or impure act.
Even the most beautiful animals in the world take to the act of mating, and trust me, they are not filthy animals. Regal animals like birds, the penguin, they sing s song, they bring pebbles and jewels as a way of showing how important it is to them the act of mating.
So... fucking is as important as all life, and we all have our right to enjoy it, without having to feel guilty about it. If its with a trusted friend, and no one is committed to anyone else, they use protection if necessary, and they know it won't change what they already have now, then I say go for it. Enjoy that night because that is the true experience of love right there, with someone you know you can trust with your heart.
