Ten Things - Geeks Rule
1 - Watched the first episode of Table Top last night. The show is great, and Grant Imahara is adorable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9QtdiRJYro
2 - Also watched the new Guild music video last night. I love it, and I want to send it to about half the people I grew up with. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFhgupR565Q
3 - Call center had a staff of two yesterday. There was zero loss in production. Honestly, if I didn't need backup on the phones, I could have done it all myself.
4 - Reading Timeless at home and Beloved at work. These two books have VERY little in common. Pretty much just that they're both books.
5 - Almost got Cerivaine to 68 last night.
6 - Wound up staying up till 11:30. NO SLEEP! INTERNET FOREVER!
7 - Made bratwurst and sauerkraut with mushrooms and onion in beer. It was delicious. I meant to bring leftovers to work for lunch today, but I forgot.
8 - So, I went to the liquor store to get beer, because I don't generally drink it and Jay doesn't drink. In the single containers case, I find 24 ounce cans, which is perfect, because that's what the recipe calls for. So I grab a 24 ounce can of Miller Genuine Draft, and feel like a tool checking out. I don't drink this crap! What if the owner, who is at the register and knows me, thinks less of me??? So I tell him I'm going to cook with it, and feel better about myself. Anxiety is caring what the owner of a liquor store thinks of you.
9 - I am dressed extra nice today because my department is getting our photo taken for the company newsletter.
10 - Debating stopping by Dress Barn on my way home and getting myself a pretty new dress. I like wearing dresses. DEAL WITH IT.
